Onboarding Access Requirements

Before we can get started, we need access to a few platforms. Below is everything you'll need to set up, along with step-by-step instructions for each one.

Google Ads

We'll manage your Google Ads account through our Google Ads Manager (MCC) account.

How to grant access
  1. Sign in to your Google Ads account at ads.google.com
  2. Click the Admin icon (wrench) in the top right
  3. Go to Access and security → Managers
  4. Click + Link Manager Account
  5. Enter our Manager ID: 584-633-1450
  6. Click Send request

Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)

We'll connect to your Meta Business portfolio as a Partner so we can manage your ad campaigns, Facebook Page, and Instagram account.

How to grant access
  1. Go to Meta Business Suite (business.facebook.com) and select your Business portfolio
  2. Click Settings (gear icon) → Business portfolio settings
  3. Go to Partners in the left menu
  4. Click AddGive a partner access to your assets
  5. Enter our Partner ID: 252676071894431 and click Next
  6. You'll see your assets listed across three columns. For each of the following, tick the checkbox in the middle column, then choose "Full control" (or "Everything") in the right column:
    • Ad Account
    • Facebook Page
    • Instagram Account
  7. Once all three are ticked with full access selected, click Save

Google Business Profile

We'll need Manager access to your Google Business Profile so we can manage your listing.

  1. Go to Google Business Profile (business.google.com) and sign in
  2. Select your business
  3. Click Menu (three lines) → Business Profile settingsManagers
  4. Click Add (person icon with +)
  5. Enter hello@smrt.com.au
  6. Set the role to Manager
  7. Click Invite

Google Search Console

We'll need access to your Search Console property to monitor your site's search performance.

  1. Go to Google Search Console (search.google.com/search-console) and sign in
  2. Select your property
  3. Click Settings (gear icon) in the left sidebar
  4. Click Users and permissions
  5. Click Add user
  6. Enter hello@smrt.com.au
  7. Set permission to Full
  8. Click Add

Google Analytics (GA4)

We'll need Editor access to your Google Analytics property to track and report on your website performance.

  1. Go to Google Analytics (analytics.google.com) and sign in
  2. Click Admin (gear icon) in the bottom left
  3. Under the Property column, click Property access management
  4. Click +Add users
  5. Enter hello@smrt.com.au
  6. Check Editor under the Roles section
  7. Click Add

Website CMS (WordPress)

We'll need Administrator access to your WordPress website to make changes on your behalf.

How to create an admin user
  1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard (usually yourwebsite.com/wp-admin)
  2. Go to Users → Add New User in the left menu
  3. Fill in the following:
    • Username: web-admin@digitalmarketinggroup.com.au
    • Email: web-admin@digitalmarketinggroup.com.au
    • Role: Administrator
  4. Check Send the new user an email about their account
  5. Click Add New User

Google Tag Manager

We'll need Editor access to your Google Tag Manager container so we can install and manage tracking tags, pixels, and conversion tracking.

  1. Go to Google Tag Manager (tagmanager.google.com) and sign in
  2. Select your account and container
  3. Click Admin in the top navigation
  4. Under the Container column, click User Management
  5. Click +Add users
  6. Enter hello@smrt.com.au
  7. Under Container Permissions, select Editor
  8. Click Invite

Domain, Hosting & DNS Access

We may need access to your domain registrar, hosting provider, or DNS settings to assist with technical setup, tracking configuration, or website work.

How to share access
  1. If your provider supports user or admin invitations, add hello@smrt.com.au as a user.
  2. If you need to share login credentials, please do so securely — either by emailing them to hello@smrt.com.au or by sharing via LastPass.

Common providers include GoDaddy, Namecheap, Cloudflare, Crazy Domains, VentraIP, SiteGround, and WP Engine.
